Description:

The Edisy platform in Johannesburg is designed to streamline the submission of declarations of interest for employees, enhancing both user experience and operational efficiency. Our primary motivation for refactoring this platform is to modernize the site’s design and significantly improve its speed. The revamped website will feature an intuitive interface that allows users to easily navigate and submit their declarations through a user-friendly form. Additional sections will provide comprehensive resources, FAQs, and company information. By focusing on performance optimization and responsive design, we aim to create a seamless and accessible experience that reflects Edisy’s commitment to its employees and fosters engagement within the organization.

Usage:

Login Page: Allows users to securely log in and access their accounts, as well as add frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help guide new users.
Employee Dashboard: Provides employees with an overview of their tasks, traceability, and quick access to manager messages and announcements.
Task Dashboard: Displays current tasks, deadlines, and progress tracking, enabling users to manage their workload efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Submission Declaration: Facilitates the submission of important documents or declarations, ensuring that users can easily submit necessary information while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Dishcovery

Description:

Comprehensive meal planning app designed to help users create personalised, delicious, and environmentally conscious weekly meal plans. The app considers dietary preferences, nutritional goals, and carbon footprint awareness to deliver a holistic and sustainable meal-planning experience.

Usage:

The user can create an account, or sign in to an account that has been saved in local storage. They are then taken to a screen where they can input information about themselves, their dietary requirements and the times that they would like meal planning for.
The user is then taken to a dashboard, where they can see news articles relating to healthy eating topics, and a chart that shows the CO2 emissions of recipes (currently at random, would be from the recipes in the meal plan). From here, they can choose to go to either the meal planner or the recipe search.
The meal planner loads recipes for the user according to the categories of breakfast, lunch and dinner. They can click on any of these to take them to the recipe in a new tab.
The recipe search allows the user to put in any number of keywords, and it will then return related recipes, with the cuisine type and nutritional information shown. The user can click on the buttons to open the recipe in a new tab.

Llibreria Torrevisca

Description:

A website for the bookshop Llibreria Torrevisca in Cambrils, Spain. The site provides information on the store’s current products, upcoming events, and the team. Our main motivation for creating this website is to boost the store’s visibility and potentially increase sales. This site will provide users with easy access to a wider range of products, optimize the return on investment, and offer customers a seamless and convenient experience.

Usage:

Homepage: Offers users an overview of the site and its sections.
Product Catalogue: Allows users to either search for a specific item or view items by category.
Events Page: Users can see the upcoming events by month, as well as book tickets straight away by clicking on the link. A carousel of images also shows pictures from past events.
About Us: This page gives the user more information about the team and offers the option to contact them via an email form.
Sign in/ Sign up: Gives users the chance to either sign in or sign up to the site. This also uses Firebase’s user authentication.
